Recent Seminar and Future Updates

Hey everyone, I just wanted to start off by saying thank you to those who came to my recent seminar in Roselle, NJ. Courtesy of Councilwoman Denise Wilkerson, I was able to promote outreach of my website firsthand and bring my tool to brand new groups of people. I talked with counselors from the local school districts, other councilwomen, as well as students and families who were looking for opportunities themselves!

Thank you Mehar Johal for an amazing demo of your website! PARENTS, STUDENTS & GUIDANCE COUNSELORS!!!Start searching for college-based programs for high school students now at: https://hsnavigator.org/

Facebook Post showing some highlights from the seminar!

After giving a brief introduction to my website and the tools that it offered, I went into a live demo of the functionality that my website has to offer. I showed programs such as internships, programs for girls in education, as well as programs from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) which was specially requested by Councilwoman Wilkerson. In the end, I also had the opportunity to take questions from the audience, as well as live feedback on new features I could add, which was extremely enlightening!

Some of the key features I plan on adding soon are programs for students with special needs, which often require special accommodations and programs from specified schools, the ability to translate the website into multiple languages to improve accessibility, and also the ability to distinguish the universities between private, public, and Ivy. These features along with others that I want to add will soon be added to the website, so thank you all for the feedback! As always thank you all for your feedback, and I plan to continue to update the website so feel free to contact me with suggestions!
