New HBCU Data Added to the Database
As another good week went by, I made sure to continue my commitment towards updating the dataset and listening to the feedback that I get from those who use my website. Since I am doing my first seminar with Councilwoman Denise Wilkerson, she requested that I look into data from historically black colleges and universities, colloquially known as HBCU. Diversity in opportunities and data is important to me, so using rankings from US News, I added close to 150 new opportunities pertaining to HBCU programs and courses.

I was missing a lot of data from HBCU, and so I chose to drastically improve the diversity of my database and include a variety of HBCU options. I also added a feature where you can filter to only HBCU programs for greater ease of access in filtering. As always thank you all for your feedback, and I plan to continue to update the website so feel free to contact me with suggestions!
